Dear friends and colleagues:

In golden autumn in October, cinnamon is fragrant. In this beautiful season, we are gathering fertilizers and we are about to usher in the 6th "China Psoriasis Conference" (CPC 2022). Hosted by the Psoriasis Professional Committee of the Academic Society, the International Psoriasis Association (IPC), and the Global Psoriasis Surveillance Project (GPA), organized by the First Affiliated Hospital of Anhui Medical University and the Institute of Dermatology of Anhui Medical University.

There are about 7 million psoriasis patients in my country, which seriously endangers the physical and mental health of the patients and brings a heavy burden to the family and society. In the past 20 years, through the unremitting efforts of domestic and foreign psoriasis translational medicine research including our team, from the identification of psoriasis susceptibility genes to the continuous discovery of disease biological pathways and drug targets, a variety of biological preparations have been promoted. The development and clinical application of drugs have made psoriasis from incurable to clinically curable a reality.

From 2017 to 2021, the successful holding of five consecutive China Psoriasis Conferences has promoted disease-related scientific research and clinical translation, and raised the social awareness of psoriasis. In response to the call of "Healthy China", on the occasion of the 19th "World Psoriasis Day", the 6th China Psoriasis Conference will be held in Hefei, Anhui Province from October 28 to 30, 2022. The theme of the conference is "Join Hands, Higher Goals". We invited academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Chinese Academy of Engineering, well-known psoriasis experts and researchers at home and abroad, as well as representatives of dermatologists from the front-line and grass-roots level, to focus on "Psoriasis Translational Medicine", "Psoriasis Basic and Clinical Research New "Progress", "New Treatment of Psoriasis" and "Psoriasis Comorbidity and Chronic Disease Management" to carry out academic exchanges, focus on the frontier and lead the future; the meeting will also release and interpret the "Chinese Psoriasis Diagnosis and Treatment Guidelines" ( 2022 edition) and the "Expert Consensus on the Standardized Treatment of Psoriasis Biologics in China". During the conference, online and offline psoriasis science popularization and public welfare free clinic activities will also be carried out simultaneously.

We hope that through the holding of this conference, we will further improve the scientific research level of psoriasis in my country, implement the standard of diagnosis and treatment of psoriasis at all levels and the management of chronic diseases, and continue to keep the research, prevention, diagnosis and treatment of psoriasis in my country in line with international standards, and benefit hundreds of people in my country. million psoriasis patients.
