        He is a research fellow of Institute of medicine, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, and doctoral supervisor of Peking Union Medical College, Tsinghua University. Former director of new drug safety evaluation and Research Center, Beijing Union Medical College, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, and former general manager of Beijing Union Medical Technology Development Co., Ltd.

        He is mainly engaged in the safety evaluation of drugs and other health-related products, and undertakes the major project of new drug creation of the Ministry of science and technology of the people's Republic of China. Presided over and completed toxicological evaluation of more than 60 new drugs. He served as vice chairman of National Technical Committee for biological evaluation of medical devices, executive director of China Association of environmental mutagens, chairman of Special Committee for prevention and control of birth defects, chairman of Beijing Society of environmental mutagens, chairman of China GLP organization industry alliance, editorial board of China Pharmaceutical Science Communication, editorial board of Chinese Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences, and editorial board member of cancerous mutation journal, They are experts in the evaluation of research start-up fund, CFDA GLP inspection expert, CFDA drug review expert, CFDA medical device review expert, disinfection product related product review expert of Ministry of health, veterinary drug review expert of Ministry of agriculture, national 973 project review expert, etc. Presided over the examination and approval of 16 items of GB: 16886 series standards for biological evaluation of medical devices. Participated in the drafting and revision of regulations such as CFDA good practice for quality management of non clinical research of drugs.

        Participated in the preparation of monographs such as the implementation guide for biological evaluation of medical devices, contemporary pharmacology, preclinical safety evaluation and practice of new drugs, pharmacology of new drugs, key technologies of drug safety evaluation, and research methodology of pharmacology of traditional Chinese medicine. Published 123 papers. He has won four second prizes of military science and technology progress, one third and one fourth prize respectively, and has applied for more than 10 invention patents.
