At the beginning of the meeting, Professor Liu Xiaoming made a comprehensive analysis of Chinese psoriasis diagnosis and treatment guidelines from the aspects of definition, epidemiology, pathogenesis, diagnosis, severity classification and treatment of psoriasis. Then the main points and application progress of traditional medicine therapy, as well as biological agents for the treatment of PsO and PsA are explained in detail. Professor Liu also put forward his thoughts on the treatment of psoriasis and advocated that dermatologists in China should treat psoriasis in a regular and individualized way, master the performance of each drug, choose correctly, and maximize the curative effect and minimize the side effects.

Professor Sun Liangdan made a detailed interpretation of the key points of The Expert Consensus on Biotherapy for Psoriasis in China (2019). Content covers the approved and has been used for psoriasis treatment of biological agents, for the application of principles and recommendations, biological treatment before the monitoring in the process of screening and treatment, biological agents, and other treatment methods of joint application, biological treatment the curative effect of attenuation phenomenon and countermeasures, such as the application of special crowd biological agents for a detailed explanation. It is suggested that the clinical application of biologics is becoming more and more extensive, showing obvious advantages in the treatment of severe, refractory and special types of psoriasis. Biologics can almost completely eliminate the skin lesions of patients, and improve the quality of life of patients very well.

        Professor Wang Wenhui explained in detail the pathogenesis, progression, maintenance and outcome of psoriasis, including genes, inflammatory pathways, cytokine networks and the role of inflammatory cells. In particular, the role of tissue-resident memory T cells (TRM) and regulatory T cells (Treg) in the pathogenesis of psoriasis was described in detail. Based on the pathogenesis of psoriasis, it explained the changes of psoriasis as an inflammatory disease, and the pathological changes caused by the changes of various systems, so as to enable the attending doctors to have a deeper understanding of psoriasis at the molecular level.

        Meeting in the first place in the second half of 2020 China psoriasis by Dr Zhou Jiong monitoring project (CGPA) is introduced, GPA is a long-term project, is for the purpose of continuous improvement on psoriasis cognition, and reveal its affect how individuals and the society as a whole, the first phase focused on in the prevalence of psoriasis and epidemic situation, future plans to add including diagnosis and treatment of psoriasis, complications work and improve patients' quality of life, economic burden, etc. The objective of CGPA is to understand the distribution, disease status, disease burden, economic burden and quality of life of psoriasis patients in China. The establishment of a psoriasis research cohort, long-term follow-up of patients, to improve the status of health care for psoriasis, reduce the burden on patients, improve the quality of life of patients, so as to provide information for China's research on the disease, policy and health care. At the present stage, GPA psoriasis patients are recruited to participate in psoriasis questionnaire nationwide based on GPA China monitoring site and psoriasis specialty clinic, and the epidemiological survey of GPA psoriasis patients is completed. Then Dr. Zhou Jiong gave a comprehensive explanation of the roles, steps and information input involved in the investigation system.

For such patients, it is recommended to go directly from local treatment to biologic treatment.

It is believed that through this lecture, we can actively promote the standardized treatment of psoriasis in China and benefit more patients with psoriasis.
