On the morning of August 16, the mid-term Seminar on the preparation of guidelines for the diagnosis and treatment of psoriasis in children in China, sponsored by the psoriasis special committee and children's special committee of Dermatology and Venereology branch of Chinese Medical Association and hosted by the Institute of Dermatology, Fudan University, was successfully held in Shanghai. 20 editorial committees from all over the country attended the meeting. The meeting was presided over by Professor Zhang Xibao, Institute of Dermatology, Guangzhou Medical University Professor Zhang Xuejun, chairman of the Compilation Committee of this guide, delivered a speech first.

        Professor Zhang Xuejun stressed that in recent years, the incidence rate of psoriasis in children and adolescents is on the rise, and the special physiological characteristics of children and the relatively few available drugs for psoriasis in children are challenging for clinicians, especially young doctors, which are more likely to be misdiagnosed and unsatisfactory. Therefore, there is an urgent need for a standardized guideline for the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of psoriasis in Chinese children. This edition of the guidelines is organized by the psoriasis special committee and children's special committee of Dermatology and Venereology branch of Chinese Medical Association. More than 20 experts with authority and rich experience in clinical diagnosis, treatment and basic research of psoriasis and children's psoriasis are jointly compiled. The compilation task is heavy and of far-reaching significance. The Compilation Committee members and secretaries should attach great importance to the compilation of the guidelines, communicate and report on the progress of the guidelines in a timely manner We should strengthen communication and exchange what we have. At present, the first draft of the guidelines has been completed. Next, we need to discuss the first draft, determine the principles of revision, and further revise and improve it. Based on the published data in China, drawing on the existing international guidelines for diagnosis and treatment of children's psoriasis and expert consensus, we will jointly prepare a practical and instructive guideline for the diagnosis and treatment of psoriasis in children with Chinese characteristics.

        Professor Zhang Xibao, member and Secretary General of the guideline, led the participants to discuss the current situation of diagnosis and treatment of psoriasis in children, compilation methodology, clinicians and practical application suggestions, epidemiology, clinical manifestations and classification, psoriasis comorbidity, diagnosis and differential diagnosis, local treatment, systematic treatment, phototherapy, biological agents, and so on The contents of systematic assessment of advantages and disadvantages of treatment, adjuvant treatment, nursing prevention, reasonable diet guidance and health education were jointly reviewed, and the questions encountered in the compilation were discussed and answered together. The principles for revising the guidelines and the submission time were determined. Each editorial board member actively spoke and discussed, and listened to each editorial board member's suggestions and opinions. The following consensus has been reached: Children's age is limited to 18 years old; BSA and PASI are used as indicators of disease severity; literature with higher level of evidence is used as far as possible, and drug recommendation level is not adopted for the time being; Chinese epidemiological data are added: the prevalence rate of children is 0.18%; the treatment method is as detailed as possible, reflecting the viewpoint, attitude, practicability and guidance of this guideline; and the mid October is determined The final meeting was held in Boao, Hainan Province, and the 4th psoriasis Congress was released at the end of October.

        The off-line mid-term discussion meeting on the preparation of guidelines for the diagnosis and treatment of psoriasis in children in China was held offline, which improved the compilation efficiency of the guidelines and clarified the direction for the finalization of the guidelines in the next step. Finally, Professor Zhang Xuejun concluded that he hoped that all experts could revise the first draft of the guidelines with high responsibility, high quality and efficiency, and complete the compilation tasks excellently within the specified time nodes, and jointly prepare the first one The guidelines for the diagnosis and treatment of children's psoriasis with Chinese characteristics will promote the development of the prevention and treatment of psoriasis in children in China and benefit the children with psoriasis in China.
